BRANSON LICENSE TERMINATION: APPROVED FEB 19, 2015
CURRENT ACTION: The Licensing Committee convened on Wednesday, January 28th and a motion was passed to recommend to the Board of Directors that Gray Line Terminate the Branson, Missouri License, currently held by Thompson Transportation Group, LLC.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The Gray Line Branson License is currently under threat of termination. A Letter of Charges for non-payment was issued on November 19, 2014 and emailed to Scott Thompson. 19 DECEMBER 2014: This was the deadline stipulated in the letter of charges (30 days from date of receipt) that the Licensee needed to notify GLWW in writing of their position with respect to these charges. As this deadline has come and gone without a response from the Licensee, GLWW is required to submit the matter to the board of directors for a vote of termination. COMMUNICATION: Bobbie Johnson, VP of Finance & Operations, reported that Gray Line Branson is a chronic and problematic payer, taking up to 6 months or more to bring their account current. Owner, Scott Thompson was made aware of the delinquency on multiple occasions by the Gray Line Worldwide Accounting staff, however, payments have yet to be made. Gray Line Branson has received a total of 30 Past Due Notices since April 4, 2012 and a total of 13 Letter of Charges since April 2, 2006.
